The Super

Joe Pesci stars as Louie Kritski, a landlord who was blessed in keeping his ghetto flat up that he is threatened with jail time. The judge gives the other option, which he takes to him -- until he brings it as much as liveable standards he must live in his rat-infested hell hole. The judge gives him 120 days, during which time Louie meets many of his tenants, for example drug trader Marlon (Ruben Blades). As time passes, Louie sees the consequences of their greediness and develops more dominating. Regrettably, Louie's daddy, Large Lou Kritski (Vincent Gardenia), will be the real owner of the property, and he frees his son's entreaties to spend less to tidy the place.
