The Man Standing Next
In the 1970s, President Park, who also controls the KCIA, an organization with a stranglehold on any branch of government, has complete authority over Korea. KIM Gyu-pyeong, the director of KCIA, appears to be the most promising second-in-command candidate. During the reign of terror, PARK Yong-gak, a former KCIA director who knows all about the government's shadowy operations, is exiled to the United States, where the 'Koreagate' inquiry is ongoing. As tensions rise, all second-in-commands engage in suffocating political maneuvering.
