Betty Lou is currently a librarian in a town that is really small. Her husband is a police detective who takes her. Betty Lou may be your mouse. After a gangland figure is mysteriously murdered in the city, Betty Lou finds out the murder weapon, however can not catch anyone's attention to tell them (we're talking very mousey, here). In a sense of frustration she fires the gun in a bathroom when taken into the police station insists she is your murderer. It's got the desired effect, people do pay her attention.
