The Geographer Drank His Globe Away

Victor Sluzhkin hints on being a professor of geography in a secondary school from his native Perm (at the Urals) and gets lost in a haze of hard vodka, dire passion to get a nymphet-like student and the worries of teaching adolescents. Geographer, as the students instantly dub Sluzhkin, attempts to flee into the Urals out of the gruesome, dull, stultifying reality of Russia life in a tour. Accompanied by wild, adventure-seeking teenagers, faced with all the grim surprises of this type, Geographer is likely to find himself and their own truth.
