Raining Stones

This Ken Loach film tells the story of a person devoted to his loved ones and his religion. Proud, though poor, Bob wants his little girl to possess a delightful (and expensive ) brand-new apparel for the First Communion. His stubbornness and determination get him as he turns in his own desperation to enhance the money that is needed. This horrible flaw leads him to risk all that he loves and worth, his loved family, indeed his immortal spirit and salvation, in pursuit of that goal.
