Pete's Dragon

For decades, old wood carver Mr. Meacham has thrilled local kids with his tales of this ferocious dragon that resides deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. To his daughter, Grace, that acts like a forest ranger, these stories are little more than tall tales... until she meets Pete, a mystical 10-year-old with no family and no dwelling that claims to live in the forests with a huge, green dragon named Elliott. And from Pete's descriptions, Elliott seems remarkably similar to this drag on by Mr. Meacham's stories. With the assistance of Natalie, an 11-year-old girl whose dad Jack owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to establish where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this particular dragon.
