Mudhoney

In this Depression-era tale, Calef stops from Spooner, Missouri, where he is hired by Lute for jobs and is currently traveling from Michigan to California. Calef becomes a part of the niece of Lute . But she's married to Sidney, a drunk who hopes to inherit the money of his uncle-in-law. Sidney along with an eccentric preacher plot against Calef, that finds it difficult to conceal his past and his growing affection for Sidney's wife.
