Jean of the Joneses

Jean Jones, a gawky, 25-year old falls dead with her book at his pocket and finds love with jeweled Ray Malcolm about the afternoon the grandfather turns up on her doorstep at the rear of a Brooklyn ambulance. Contrary to the advice of her loved ones, who seem to be stewing in their own secrets, Jean intends the funeral for grey Jones and finds some difficult truths concerning the Jones women, her failing career and a crippling inability to proceed in a past relationship.
