Every Day
Ned (Liev Schreiber) is currently in the throes of a mid life crisis. His work as a writer in an TV show that is semi-pornographic is significantly less than satisfying. His fifteen year-old kid has only told him he could be gay and his twenty five year old is fearful of, well virtually every thing. After his wife, Jeannie (Helen Hunt), moves her sick and embittered father (Brian Dennehy) from Detroit into their house in NY, it puts extra strain on an already strained marriage. And when a sexy female co-worker (Carla Gugino) sets the moves Ned, the temptation sends him helplessly. EVERY DAY is all about a family's struggle to survive the unexpected curve balls that are only a portion of real life. Aging and passing. Commitment and independence. Love and approval. It has an uncompromising look at a normal family making an outstanding travel towards each other and towards themselves.
