Eight Men Out
1919's great Chicago White Sox team may be the team. The team is bitter at their pennypincher owner, Charles Comiskey, and also at their own championships. Gamblers take advantage of this chance to offer a few players to throw the show (Most of the players failed to get around promised) But play and Buck Weaver and the terrific Shoeless Joe Jackson turn back at the last minute to decide to try with their best. The Sox almost come back from a 3-1 deficit. The truth breaks from the Sox are sued on multiple balances. They're found innocent by the prosecution however baseball commissioner Landis has additional plans. The eight players are suspended for lifetime, and Buck Weaver, for the rest of his life, strives to clear his name.
