Subsequent to the lifts in a nyc skyscraper begin strangely malfunctioning, setting its passengers at risk, mechanic Mark Newman (James Marshall) and author Jennifer Evans (Naomi Watts) begin individual investigations. Newman gets immunity from superiors at his companion, which manufactured the elevator, even while additional lift episodes cause several gruesome deaths. Law enforcement assume and become involved that terrorists are more responsible, but there surfaced a much stranger explanation.
