Blood Child

Blood Child is a true-story horror thriller. Bill and Ashely DiAngelo appear to have it all: an overseas assignment to Singapore, a tropical lifestyle, and an impending baby. However, tragedy comes when she miscarries and falls into a profound despair. Ashley determines, unbeknownst to Bill, that the only way for her to "be" with her miscarried child is to participate in the South East Asian occult practice of raising her own "ghost child." She enlists the assistance of her Indonesian maid, Siti, and assigns her the mission of locating a bomoh (witch doctor) who is adept at trapping the spirits of unborn deceased fetuses. Siti makes valiant attempts to stop Ashley from using such terrible magic, but to no avail. Meanwhile, in an attempt to put the awful events surrounding the miscarriage behind them, Bill thinks that the pair should return to Minnesota and start their lives over. Ashley and Bill are astonished to discover they are pregnant again some months after their return to the United States....
