After She Wakes

After death of her baby son, a mother with daughter is affected with sleep disruptions that are terrifying as they make an effort to take care of grief and ongoing pain. They begin experiencing episodes of parasomnia including sleep paralysis and night terrors, leaving them only able to see horrendous fantasies and struggling to go. Every night these offenses become too disturbing as they create a rift in their own realities causing the caretaker to trust something or someone is watching her sleeping. Soon the terrifying fantasies in their fantasies start to manifest into a reality that is sinister, leaving the mother vulnerable.
