A Dog Year

Jon Katz is near to burnout. He's a writer with writer's block. His spouse has left because he is emotionally distant, to her sister's. He seldom answers his phone. He is sent a border collie that is undisciplined due to abuse by A kennel. Despite a succession of mishaps, Jon decides to keep trying with canine, and he also lifts a dilapidated farm house to provide the dog room to run. Jon is referred by A handyman to some woman who may find a way to help him instruct the dog. Reluctantly, she is given an idea by Jon. Could be canine the proprietor, or the issue?
