Ellie is a old whose life is way from where she's envisioned it to be. Filled with a boyfriend that is selfinvolved, annoying friends, and a livelihood she can not bring herself to pursue, Ellie feels detached out of her life. Her universe is upset, If she learns that her alcoholic father has expired and she begins a journey which takes her to a tiny town in Texas.
